Lantern of First Light
Weapon ( flail/javelin ), rare (requires attunement by a cleric or paladin)
Unique Weapon: A cross between javelin and flail, the Lantern of First Light is deemed to be a difficult weapon to wield. Crafted from solid adamantine, the weapon is heavy and unbalanced.
Due to its design, the weapon requires a strength of 13 or greater to wield.
Adamantine Weapon: Melee weapons and ammunition made of adamantine are unusually effective when used to break objects. Whenever an adamantine weapon hits an object, the hit is a critical hit.
Immortal Flame: It is told that the flame that burns within the lantern is to be part of the divine fire given by the gods. The fire is magical by nature and cannot be put out by water or strong winds. A Dispel Magic or entering an anti-magic area will extinguish the flame.
The fire can be lit at will, shedding a bright light of 20ft and dim light an additional 20ft. In magical darkness, the lantern grants 20ft of dim light.
Healing Aura: Once per long rest, the user may produce a divine aura of a 30ft radius from them for 1 minute. Creature of the user’s choice (including themselves) gains 1d8 + their spell casting modifier at the beginning of their turn.
Damage stats: this weapon is magical and gains +1 to damage and attack rolls
Javelin - 1d6 piecing ( 20/60ft ), 5ft reach
Flail - 1d8 bludgeoning, 5ft reach
